Coming events in Israel, Spring 2008:(No) Israel Salsa congress - this year Lior Petel had to cancel the salsa congress, due to organizational constraints. But plan is to resume the congresses next year, with the next one planned for May 2009. By then, Latino Del Mundo is holding a "Festival Caliente", Express Inn hotel in Eilat, between June 12-14 2008. For detailsRecent events in Israel: (see pictures in the the gallery)"Hot winter" Festival - Following the successs of the summer "Festival Balagan", Superdance & Latingate hold a short salsa winter weekend, in Club Hotel Tiberia, on Feb. 29th - March 1st. Other schools, like the Candela from Jerusalem and Yaniv Yalon from Kfar-Saba will be there too, and Djs Roy Mimran & NaSh will play. For details: 054-4774199.Latin Dream 7 - Sep. 6-8 weekend, Holiday Inn Express, Eilat: salsa & brazilian dances festival produced by Latino Del Mundo. Festival Balagan 2007: Aug. 30 to Sep 1st weekend, Palmira Hotel, Eilat: Latingate & Superdance team with Salsa.org.il, and clubs Hazira in Tel-Aviv & Single Green in Beer-Sheva. This festival had two dance floors in parallel: Salsa, and "all times dances" combining social ballroom dances with line dances.
